Yaël joined us as a paralegal us in the summer of 2025.

He was already a deeply committed person in France. While studying for his Bachelor of Laws degree, he volunteered with NGOs helping children and homeless people. He also completed an internship with the French National Strategy to Combat Poverty.

He also received a Master’s degree in law, during which he studied on exchange for two semesters at the UQAM law school. Having fallen in love with the province and the practice of law in Quebec, he received a dual Master’s degree in fundamental rights from Laval University. His thesis focused on the apprehension of “sectarian” religious movements in the French and Quebec legal systems.
