On October 27, 2017, the Court suspended the present file until final disposition in the file Josiane Fréchette v. Desjardins Sécurité financière, Compagnie d’assurance-vie and Fédération des Caisses Desjardins du Québec (S.C.Q.: 500-06-000877-171) since there was a lis pendens between the two files.

On May 14, 2021, the Court approved a Settlement Agreement in file 500-06-000877-171. This Settlement Agreement provides for compensation to Class Members.

All Class Members in this class action are included in file 500-06-000877-171.

On September 17, 2021, Plaintiff filed an application for leave to discontinue. That application was granted on October 12, 2021.
