    This class action seeks to compensate the customers of Bell Expressvu Limited Partnership and Bell Canada, the Defendants, who have paid late fees since June 1, 2010.

    On January 15, 2015, the plaintiff filed an Originating Application at the Superior Court. She asked for the reduction of late fees paid by the members of the group since June 1, 2010, as well as punitive damages.

    2. You have paid late fees to Bell Expressvu Limited Partnership and Bell Canada since June 1, 2010

    3. For wireline, wireless or internet telephony services

    Summary of the class action

    On December 19, 2014, the class action against Bell Expressvu Limited Partnership and Bell Canada was authorized and Juliette Larouche obtained the status of representative of the following group:

    “All natural persons and legal persons governed by private law, companies or associations, counting at any time during the 12-month period preceding January 10, 2012 under their direction or control, not more than 50 persons related to them by an employment contract, which at any time since June 1, 2010, subscribed to Bell Expressvu or Bell TV Fibe satellite television services from Bell Canada in Quebec and paid late fees on the amount of at least one invoice issued by the respondents under one of the following contracts: Contract for residential customers; Contract for commercial subscribers; and Bell Fibe TV – Consumer Service Agreement – Terms of Service. ”

    And on behalf of the consumer subgroups described as follows:

    “All natural persons, other than a merchant who has entered into a contract with one of the respondents for the purposes of his business, who at any time since June 1, 2010 have subscribed to the Bell Expressvu or Bell satellite television services Bell Canada Fibe TV in Quebec who paid late fees on the amount of at least one invoice issued by the Respondents under one of the following contracts: Contract for residential customers; Contract for commercial subscribers; and Bell Fibe TV – Consumer Service Agreement – Terms of Service. ”
