On Friday, September 27, TJL will be closed to take part in the global climate strike.
Throughout Quebec, events are organized in 17 cities, including Montreal, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Gatineau, Trois-Rivières, Saguenay and Alma. Internationally, 1500 municipalities in 150 countries have already announced their participation in the International Climate Action Week.
The science is clear: we must urgently reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to protect the climate, and life on Earth as we know it. Concrete actions must be taken by our governments and by each of us. To help us move from words to deeds, we invite you to sign The Transition Pact and send a clear message to our leaders.
Join us on September 27th! In Montreal, the meeting point is at 12 o’clock at the George-Étienne Cartier Statue, at the foot of Mount Royal.
Looking forward to participating together in this historic day for the climate,
The TJL team
