The Class Action
On June 23, 2008, Mr Jean-François Paris filed a motion for authorization to institute a class action against the Respondents. The Applicant alleges, among other things, that the respondents directors failed to their duty to inform the investors about the real financial situation of the company. The class action filed by Mr Paris seeks to indemnify the investors members of the group for the losses they have suffered following the actions of the Respondents.
On September 1st, 2011, Mr Justice Robert Mongeon of the Quebec Superior Court has authorized the institution of the class action.
