Alexandru is the perfect embodiment of TJL’s values. Having spent several years as a senior investigator at Moldova’s National Anti-Corruption Center, there can be no doubting his courage and sincere commitment to the rule of law.

After completing his paralegal internship at TJL, he stayed on as a paralegal. His assiduity and rigour at work, his great perseverance and his continuous efforts in his college studies earned him several nominations to the President’s Honour List, in addition to the Aura Award for academic perseverance and the Gérard Blondeau Award for excellence in French. While working full-time at the firm, he is pursuing his university studies to become a lawyer in his own right.

In addition to his legal aspirations, Alexandru is passionate about soccer. As soon as he arrived in Canada, he got involved in the local sports community to help develop the sport. Starting out as a volunteer with the Côte-des-Neiges – Notre Dame de Grâce Soccer Association, he went on to coach the children. He also contributed to the group’s efforts in lobbying the City of Montreal to build a new soccer field. It was thanks to this group’s social and community commitment that the City made a favourable decision. Yet more proof of their determination!
