    Mo Rajji Courtney - Paralegal

Working in law since 2021, with experience in family law, civil litigation, and immigration, Mo joined the firm in 2025 as a paralegal. With a Bachelor of Arts in political science and religious studies from McGill University and an ACS in legal technology from CDI College, they bring both an interest in the sociopolitical impact of our files as well as a passion for civil procedure.

From a young age, Mo has had an interest in human rights and civil liberties—their family always knew that one day they would pursue a career in law. They didn’t start as a paralegal though, but as a receptionist at a small family law firm.

Before working in law, Mo had already worked in a resource centre for transgender university students, where they became involved in the founding and eventual leadership of the labour union of the Students’ Society of McGill University. It was there that Mo realized the power of law to affect positive change, which inspired them to work in law.
