Omar Qaqish holds a PhD, and BCL and JD degrees from McGill University in Montreal. He’s interested in the regulatory function of public law, the concept of judicial authorship, and legal writing as a genre. In another life, he wrote a doctoral dissertation on the concept of metacriticism in Arabophone literature and taught at various educational levels in several countries. He will begin his articling term in 2027.
